We're looking for entrepreneurial engineers who want to become Radical Builders, work on the most challenging R&D, and start their own spin‑off with our partners in the network.
A dual‑use R&D studio at the frontier of maritime motion engineering. With and for our partners we develop the hardware and software that disrupt industries and keep allied navies ahead.
We're a dual-use innovation studio, which means we help bring R&D projects to life that overlap defence and industry. We lead consortia or can be part of R&D projects. Our specialty is motion engineering for full platform design, meaning we help develop platforms that achieve complex motion challenges with designs from the ground up. We use software and hardware to achieve our goals and love 3D printing for prototyping and production because of its design flexibility.
Making platforms behave in and through fluids. Three disciplines, one craft: hydro- and aerodynamics (the forces), vehicle dynamics and control (the behaviour), and vehicle and fluid-structure interaction (the transitions). We apply them in three tracks: stability without flow, contact between systems, and stability through flow. It pairs with 3D-printed structures because designing for additive manufacture from the first sketch is what makes those designs producible and scalable.
Your product keeps its commercial mission and gains a defence mission on the same architecture. Solar USVs harvesting kelp and running ISR. Aerial LARS for offshore survey and mine clearance. One engineering investment pays twice.
We design, we don't manufacture. Design, naval architecture, autonomy and systems integration are ours. The build goes to the right partner in our network. In our own programmes we build one prototype to prove the system, then spin it off with partners, FORYX.AI is the first. When you hire us, the product and the IP stay yours.
Yes, that's a core service. We map your innovation to a defence need, assemble the consortium around it, and structure the non-dilutive funding: in our programmes, 50 to 85% of development cost is covered through such instruments. You keep your equity, and the funding follows the mission.
